THE DECADES: SEASON LAUNCH PARTY

The Decades is a themed costume party featuring multimedia installations. Sponsored by Maquam Wines & Mill River Brewing, we are pleased to host this event as a kick-off for our 2026 Museum Season.

Opening Day for Saint Albans Museum is Saturday May 16th! To kick off the season we are hosting The Decades. This is a costume party. To honor the 250th of the USA and our 250th original exhibition CENTENNIALS, the theme this year is Gilded Age meets the Disco Era. Dress up from the 1870’s or 1970’s - or a combination of both!

Costumes can be real or imagined. Experience a world where the decades blend together.

Event is from 7-11 pm, bar is open from 7-10:30 pm. Sets by DJ Cosmos, Moon Balloon, and Disco Phantom. Projections by Vanish Works Experience Design.

7-8 pm Interactive Art & Projections, Music and Mingling

8-9 pm Archival Projections and Costume Photos

9-11 pm Dance Party with Disco Phantom

This event is a fundraiser. All bar proceeds benefit Education & Programs at SAM. Bring your wallet for the bar and attend with generosity in mind :)
