From the Archives #48: Town Meeting Day 2024

Tomorrow is Town Meeting Day! The tradition of town meetings in Vermont dates back to 1762, when it was still part of New France. Today, Town Meeting Day continues to give Vermonters a chance to participate in direct democracy and weigh in on the issues that impact their communities.

In St. Albans Town and City, polls will be open March 5th, 2024 from 7 AM-7 PM. To learn more about proposed articles and find your polling location, visit https://stalbanstown.com/_T1_R145.php (Town residents) or https://www.stalbansvt.com/ (City residents).
