From the Archives #47: Snow Days

Our beautiful Vermont winters are known for snow.

In our archives we have some interesting photographs of winter snow from the 1930s, before we had municipal snow plows. These are some pictures taken on Sheldon Road, looking east towards Gallagher's Corner from winter 1930-1931. Neighbors helping neighbors, with just shovels.
