From the Archives #15: The Welden House

After our post last week with a photo of Maiden Lane that also featured the Welden House, some commenters expressed interest in seeing the hotel's interior. These photos from 1890 show the Welden House at the height of its glory before it was destroyed by fire on July 16th, 1897.
