Discover new voices and stories as we explore the people, places, and events that define our community. These galleries can take you back in time anytime, anywhere!

Each exhibit is presented in two formats: a full-color PDF and an accessible PDF featuring ultra-legible fonts, a high-contrast color scheme, and tags for compatibility with screen readers.

Untold Stories, Unheard Voices

As part of SAM’s ongoing diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion efforts, we set out to highlight the often-overlooked perspectives of Black Vermonters in St. Albans and Franklin County. The resulting exhibit, Untold Stories, Unheard Voices, celebrates the lives and contributions of several key figures from the Revolutionary War to the 1960s through a series of informational panels.

Printed versions of the panels are on display at the museum and available for loan to local organizations at no cost. Loans can be for as little as one day or a maximum of three months. Email museum@stamuseum.org or call (802) 527-7933 to discuss loans.
