The heart of our mission here at the Saint Albans Museum is our community. This morning, we made the decision to postpone/cancel our early spring programs and events. These include:
- Linda Radtke’s living history presentation, From the Parlor to the Polling Place: Suffragist Stories & Songs on March 19
- Osher Lifelong Learning (OLLI) lectures on 3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, and 4/15
- School field trips scheduled in March & early April
- Public programming in March, April, May, and June (updated 4-2020)
Our volunteer program is also temporarily suspended as we transition to remote work options. I will be sure to share rescheduled dates for these activities once they become available.
By now, I am sure you are aware of the basic precautions: wash your hands, practice social distancing, cover your coughs & sneezes, and stay home if you are not feeling well. For additional resources and information, please visit the websites of the CDC, WHO, and the Vermont Department of Health.
Take good care, and please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns. All of us at SAM appreciate your support as we do our part to help keep our community safe and healthy.
