A Museum…and More!
2018 Annual Appeal Campaign

Dear Friends,

Your story – your history – is important to the Saint Albans Museum. We are a nonprofit organization with a unique mission to preserve and share our local heritage. We invite you to learn more about SAM, our service to the community, and how you can impact our work. Some highlights from this season include:

  • SAM’s new STEM educational program, “Lake Lessons,” provided lake history and ecology workshops for over 500 area elementary students and teachers
  • Over 60 farming families, community members, and area organizations contributed historical materials or renovation support for our new Farming Franklin County agricultural history exhibit
  • 1600+ residents attended our seasonal, family-friendly activities, including the Maple Festival Open House, “Haunted Museum” Trick-or-Treat, and Kids Night at the Museum
  • SAM hosted a number of community events: local bluegrass group Northern Flyer in concert, youth crafts for the Festival of Trees, a monthly lecture series, and a food drive to benefit Northwest Family Foods

While we are encouraged by the Museum’s capacity for innovative programming and expanded community involvement – these efforts are dependent on continued sustainable funding. Your contribution will help ensure our historic facility remains a museum…and more, now and for generations to come.
