The Saint Albans Museum (SAM) is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our Summer 2019 Educational Fellowship. This full-time, paid internship position will provide practical, hands-on experience in museum/historic site administration, educational programming development, collections management, visitor services, oral history & research, and community outreach. Training, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for professional development will be provided. Fellowship educational projects will include “Lake Lessons” (STEM/cultural heritage) and the “Rail City History Project” (pictured below). The purpose of this program is to prepare the next generation of museum education and cultural heritage professionals. Funding for this opportunity is provided by a 2019 Internship Grant from the Champlain Valley National Heritage Partnership.
