Each season, the Museum selects a local non-profit or community organization to support and partner with by hosting a fundraising benefit in the Bliss Room. This year, we are pleased to join with the Franklin County Dementia Care Coalition and the St. Albans Recreation Department.
The mission of the Franklin County Dementia Care Coalition is “to enhance the quality of life for persons with dementia and their loved ones by coordinating community resources and offering advocacy and support.” They provide educational opportunities and offer resources around issues related to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease to both individuals and institutions within our community. The St. Albans Recreation Department offers a variety of fun activities for community members of all ages, including classes and events in sports and fitness, health and well-being, exploring the outdoors, cooking, trips to Boston or Montreal, and more.
