The Saint Albans Museum (SAM) is hosting their second annual Kid’s Night at the Museum on Wednesday, August 9 from 5-8pm.
Admission for children is free, and adults are only $5 each (with a maximum of $10 per family/group). Play in the bounce house, test your skills with games and activities, and enter our scavenger hunt and coloring contest for your chance to win great prizes. SAM has partnered with the St. Albans Recreation Department, the NCSS Family Center, RISE VT, and the Franklin County Dairy Promotion Board to offer this family-friendly evening with fun and learning for all ages.
Each attendee receives a ticket for dinner (pizza and fruit) and a choice of water or milk. Guided tours of the museum exhibits will also be available. There will also be a resource table with information about local organizations, agencies, and services specifically for families.
“Our historic building served as a school for over 100 years before it became a museum,” said Alex Lehning, Executive Director of the Saint Albans Museum. “A curiosity about the past is an important part of your identity no matter how old you are. We’re excited to return to our roots with for an evening of discovery and family fun.”
